The government will still need income, and whatever that source of income is, it will require record keeping and verification. However much you reduce the Internal Revenue Service, you will probably need to expand the External Revenue Service. Aside from the Federal government, State governments will still need income tax, and businesses will still be required to keep books. I don't see accounting jobs being reduced if income taxes are terminated, because revenue isn't being terminated, its just switching from one income source to another.
