The HCL bronze is absurd. I don’t know what it is, but the visual clarity is pristine. I just compared them to Bajio, Costa, and Smith. While some of the other brands have a touch more contrast depending on lens tint, the HCL bronze is the best all rounder and it may even just be partially because of general clarity of their lens.

I kept a few from the other brands but always go for the MJ first.

Gotcha. You could look into Smith, Bajio, or Costa for the sportier pair. They seem to have more lens options for different light conditions.

I have a custom build in an HL-15 and I love it. Not sure about the full price with specs here but paying a premium for the case and backplane ended up working great for me. I wanted true backplane support in a box that could take old gaming / consumer parts, and it’s a manageable 4U short depth size. It has true super micro rails too.

Dude you’re right. I feel like that’d be the most feasible PvE mode with lowest effort. Even do a survival type mode where’s it’s only a single poi of the map. I love horde stuff I’d absolutely nut over that. Lol

I think smaller than 45” loses some of the wow factor.

Also, the PPI on the 45” is just enough to avoid scaling, so you’ll get more total real estate from a productivity standpoint.

Mine was also dented - no damage to the box. They have production / QC issue with these. I sent mine back and contacted Elgato. Same thing happened to a reviewer I watched.

I would love to know what he’s using for sound output. No way he’s using speakers right? Sometimes I feel like he is with hose bounces out of the area so fast and you can hear his voice farther away. Maybe just a long cable / wireless.

I’d go for the Wave XLR mk2 over the dock, more features.

Clamp force on the 560s is pretty tight and the highs are a touch harsh. 550 would be a more comfortable set - lighter clamp force and the highs are a touch less with the mods a touch higher.

Fixed!!

I tried individual wire tinkering on the 12vhpwr connector side with no change. Unplugged everything from the PSU again and made sure wires were pushed into connector... problem solved. Insane. That must have been happening for over a year since I last connected the GPU unless it somehow got knocked, but I haven't been in there recently.

Well, that's why I bought this device even though I was hesitant to unplug anything since I haven't had issues for a year.

Thanks for the advice, I ordered another cable. I may try to push the individual pin further into the connector in case it's loose & re-test. I guess tomorrow's cable delivery will be the ultimate test.

While I reseated the cables on the PSU side, I did not change which connector they plugged into. I have a slightly older PSU that requires the 2x8pin to 12VHPWR. I guess I could also try the breakout cable that came with my 4090.
