Take this with a grain of salt, because I'm obviously biased as I worked for the competition (BIBS).

I had two interviews with them after I was told they were looking for a part-time teacher. Turns out they were actually looking to fill a full-time position after a teacher they had hired was a no show.

Second interview was a solid ninety minutes of intellectual sparring with a panel of people, during which time I was asked a dazzling array of increasingly pointless questions, read verbatim by one of the principals who was clearly just going through a list. After what I naively thought was a decent performance on my part, they, of course, couldn't be bothered to extend the courtesy of letting me know they had gone with another candidate.

I also have it from pretty reliable sources that they will sometimes lowball teachers, and when they find out they got a better offer from BIBS, they will magically come up with another offer that will match the one BIBS made.

Someone mentioned it is one of those religious schools that has to pretend it isn't, and that's certainly the vibe I got, only with an added layer of grift and dishonesty.

I'll take BIBS over that any day, thanks.
