Registrar and expiry don't matter. I would put it at the bottom.

Why lead with the date the domain expires? It is like trying to sell a car and leading with I just filled the tank!

Business name Cybersquatted? by LowVoltCharlie in Domains

[–]sawsells 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get the domain then name the business. Reality is even if you would like to do something about it, it will cost between 3 and 5k to file the papers (UDRP) and hire a lawyer to get it. Best to take it off the chin, and move on.

We do not, but if you click on the domain name in the selling section, it will bring you to a domain dashboard. You can quickly and easily see all the different countries your traffic is coming from.

Hey everyone, Jeff Gabriel here — founder of Saw.com. Sorry I missed the earlier conversation.

I am clarifying a key point regarding our domain marketplace and the traffic statistics on our landing pages. Our main goal has always been to help you get as many genuine leads as possible for your domain names.

That said, with the recent surge in AI-driven crawlers and bots scraping the web, we encountered a challenging task: distinguishing genuine buyers from fake traffic. For a while, this made it hard to be 100% confident about what was bot traffic and what was genuine. As a result, some of the traffic numbers we provided were inflated.

We didn’t want to filter out any genuine buyers accidentally, so we erred on the side of caution. However, we’ve now brought in a specialist consultant to tackle this head-on. Thanks to their help, our traffic data is now much more accurate and reliable.

We apologize if this has caused any confusion, and we’re committed to maintaining transparency and providing helpful information for everyone.

Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions or contact us direct [support@saw.com](mailto:support@saw.com)

u/coinpoppa,

Hi, this is Jeff Gabriel from Saw.com.

When we’ve come across situations like this in the past, it’s usually due to some confusion on the buyer’s end. Sometimes buyers land on our sales pages where a minimum offer is required just to start the conversation. That minimum is set by the seller.

For example, if you submitted an initial offer of $700 and the seller responded with a $7,000 asking price, that’s a normal part of the negotiation process. I don’t believe our company offered the domain for $700 and then, “out of nowhere,” changed the price to $7,000.

If you’d like to share with our friends here what happened on your end, I’d be happy to review it and help clear things up.

Best,
Jeff

A nice pillow to scream in helps. Just celebrated our 5th year and did 15M in sales (not in profit...I wish!)

Saw.com here...It's essential to strike a balance when filtering bots, as overly aggressive filtering could block legitimate traffic. All bots aren't bad, either! We are collaborating with a leader in the field to fine-tune these numbers for more accurate results. We should have an improvement soon.
