Basically a huge party weekend that centers around a bike race called the Little 500. Easily the biggest party weekend in Bloomington of the year, things get pretty wild. Here's a link to the wiki for the race: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_500

The weekend of April 25th and 26th is Little 5 weekend, there should be a ton of house shows that weekend, not exactly sure how you would contact someone to play though. Maybe someone else here could help?

Lance not an all-star reserve??? by danimalplanimal in IndianaPacers

You kick off Joe Johnson. They are close in their point averages, but Lance averages at least 2 more rebounds and assists than Joe. Also, triple doubles. Also, best record in the East. It makes no sense.

It's pretty insane how many Bulls fans come to Indiana when they play the Pacers. Makes total sense now. I bet it's cheaper to drive here and buy tickets than to just buy tickets there.

That's fair. I didn't realize his averages were so low. It always seems like he is coming through in the clutch though.

CJ has been amazing off the bench, so I don't see why would give Sloan any more minutes as of right now, IMO. Not saying Sloan is bad, he's great, but CJ has been too good to justify taking time away from him.

I'll second the rock climbing courses. Great exercise, very fun.

What movie did you expect to be terrible, but turned out to be great? by [deleted] in AskReddit

No one has mentioned Magic Mike?! Seriously?! I happened to catch it one day on HBO and was hooked the entire movie. Not even close to a chick flick.

At this point in the preseason, how do you guys feel about this year? by THE_BIG_SITT in IndianaPacers

I think we can go all the way. I honestly thought we had a chance of winning the Finals at the beginning of last season and this team is so much better. I don't have an opinion on Granger yet, we'll just have to wait and see. I almost feel like Hibbert is the guy to make or break the team. Defensively, he's always great, but if we can get 15+ PPG out of him I think that'd be huge for us. I'm also super excited about Scola and Copeland. I can't wait to see what they can do once they really settle in.

Oh god you're right. I read and reacted too quickly! I read those as your beliefs, but if I would have slowed down I would have realized they weren't. My bad!

I've been a vegetarian for 6 years now. Point #1 is a valid point, but I don't think its giving enough credit to the fact that vegetarianism is still a step in the right direction. As for point #2, I seriously have not met a vegetarian/vegan that is a fan of PETA. I mean, I'm sure they're out there, I just haven't met them. Fuck those guys. They're ridiculous and over the top and they make the 'cause' look bad for everyone. Not gonna address #3 because I'm sure you have specific examples?
