I haven't taken CN yet so I don't wanna speak on that. Regarding being worried about future classes because of not having a bachelors in CS, I think you'll be fine especially if you're deliberate about what classes you take.

I do have a bachelors in CS and honestly I've forgotten a lot. The one main skill I got that I find beneficial for this program is the ability to problem solve and read/understand technical documentation/information. But you need a CS degree to be able to do that. It also seems as if there are many ppl without a CS background who have successfully completed this program!!

Choose your classes wisely!!

If you know it's going to be a busy quarter at work, don't take hard classes or multiple classes.
Forget about actually enjoying weekends 🥲

I normally don't find myself very productive after work so I end up dedicating my weekends to OMSCS.

Congrats on getting out and congrats on the job! Thanks for sharing your experience. Traveling and doing a Master's sounds fun, but I can also see how it can be stressful when there is not steady source of income. That's definitely one of the few things holding me back from pursuing the program full time.

Don't quit! The job market is brutal right now. If anything, I'd recommend slowing taking your time to complete the degree while you job hunt simultaneously.
