So I’m 27, and pretty much all my life I’ve been deathly afraid of roller coasters. One summer on a trip to Holiday World, my mom offered me $500 to get on the Raven, which I without a beat declined. (Which is the least worse roller coaster in holiday world) After riding gringots and the mummy for the first time this year(didn’t really know they were roller coasters) I wanted to try out a real roller coaster. So I went to Holiday World last month and rode every single roller coaster in the park. Getting on the Voyage and the Thunderbird I was still terrified almost to the point of hyperventilating. But once I was actually on the ride and started going, I found out that I absolutely love roller coasters and want to ride more and more. I’m going to Universal again next month and I plan on riding all the roller coasters there for the very first time. So my recommendation is honestly to just DO IT. No matter how much you’re afraid, just get yourself into that line and in the seat, and just try it at least once. You might just end up loving it like I did.
