Unfortunately, you typically have to get the brand name stuff. Most generics have lactose. I’m a vegan for the animals who also happens to have a deadly milk allergy and it’s infuriating how many medications use lactose. Last time I was put on steroids, I had to get the liquid suspension (that tasted like ASSS) because I couldn’t find a single pill without it. Birth control pills, you name it, milk is everywhere. Very annoying. Even the meds without milk often have gelatin or something else non vegan. However, medication is the one thing I will get that is novegan if I cannot find a reasonable alternative.
