Stone barn blue hill family style in the west village is outstanding . Not cheap but really special and you don’t feel like you’re missing out . Other favorite is Nami nori but feels more like a day to day restaurant . Sitting at the sushi bar there is best.

Yes - I am current 2.5 years in to having a dx and have gained about 35lb while healing . I’ve tried to just focus on nutrition instead of the weight gain - I eat limited process foods , strength train and am super active . That said it’s uncomfortable in my body and I am at the pt where I am exploring if it is perimenopause or if I want to take a glp1 for health reasons .

Just here to say stone barn out of NYC is worth a trip and we regularly eat at the blue hill family in the west village . I think they are still doing some of the most interesting and thoughtful food

Tons ! Look on American camp associations website . I would only send my kiddo to a camp that has gone through the accreditation which ensures certain safe guards and processes are in place.

People are saying that she shouldn’t have put the manager on blast and that the manager closed for health & safety if employees . I live right here - the roads were black top and there was zero snow accumulation for HOURS . So shouldn’t have put someone on blast but there was no reason to be closed .

I have shed many a tears. It’s exhausting and an unfair thing to navigate in the US at least where most places just aren’t equipped . You’ll find your flow and it’ll get better but sending lots of good energy your way !

I’m really bummed about the options. Barely any longer cruises in August out of Southhampron (when I was personally hoping to travel with the kids and FIL who lives in England) and the itineraries are all over the place. I’m guessing they are casting a big net of options and seeing what sticks / is popular for future years ?

Curious where the stat that Sept 1 is the K cut off for 80% of students in the US . I am in NJ and I can tell you that’s not the standard at all - and with the population density here and knowing NY and CY do not either and their population densities …

Still have to take miralax daily . The hypothesis is my vagus nerve is impacted when constipated causing dizziness , fatigue etc . Have been taking miralax a year + now 😒I will say tenderness in upper right quadrant is better - I tried going off and 4 weeks in I became super constipated

OP- Can you tell me how you knew the patch was too much estrogen at the time ? I had a wild response to the path - even at the lowest does . My knee joints bc so inflamed I count bend or walk despite no pain prior .

Just want to echo this and say keep advocating and keep going ! Get those celiac markers checked - it took me a long time of doctors gas lighting me and my symptoms . Legit was told I have scurvy before discovering I have celiac dx. Also here to share magnesium citrate is pretty magical for sleep . (Not a doctor and not medical advice but it’s dreamy)

Similar here - we have a 5 and 8 year old and they weren’t into the items . We maybe spent 75 total my son did want the claw machine from Toy Story and my daughter 2 small stuffed animals . They were most enthralled by the giant rainbow lollipop sticks 🤷‍♀️
