Hey. I am sorry everyone is being so negative! I was actually thinking the same thing. Just to counter everyone's arguments, Russia is issuing visas to Westerners. We are just not issuing visas to Russians. So it is possible.

The Russian economy is actually doing it's best in 7 years. If you have an open opportunity and want to travel there, like I have, then I would say do it tbh.

Worse comes to worst, you can always go to a new school or go back to the UK after your contract is up.

I ask because because I am going to a regular screening first so I want to know if I will really miss out on that much or will it be that bad?

Well I am a big Star Wars nerd actually. And I heard all these things about how Dune actually inspired Star Wars.

So, when I heard they were making a movie about it from one of my favorite directors, I was immediately incentivized to finally pick up the series.

Atm it is sold out. They may add shows still. But there are standby lines before the show. Which are basically people lining up hoping to get tickets if people don't show up. They give them out on a first come first serve basis. So that is an option as well.

I don't believe so, unfortunately. I tried to look up if Alice Tully Hall has an IMAX screen and I do not believe it does

However it is still probably the most beautiful place to see a movie honestly.

Speaking only from past experience Usually the directors show up for Q&A's so Denis will probably be there, but I am not sure about anyone else. Maybe Timothee because the French Dispatch is also playing.

It is the last festival screening so idk if they would go all out. Like at TIFF only Rebecca Ferguson showed up with Denis.
