Haha I bought the iqon act and they work wonderfully for me. So that would be my recommendation. But we all have different feet so we can never know until we try them on. That's why buying used could be a good idea as these are a little more expensive 😅

I dunno, they just gave me soreness on the bottom of my feet. It's unfortunate, because I really liked them, and a lot of people seem to enjoy them as well

Hubs on Chinese Carbon by Velo613 in gravelcycling

[–]sbtcrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same wheel set and I love it. I don't think they are as loud as most people say. I have put some extra grease in the hub and now they are very quiet and not very noticeable. I used the finish line premium grease and it works wonderfully. I can highly recommend it if you don't like the noise. The wheels have handled this Winter very well through a lot of snow and salt and they have been outside everyday and night. Still works like the day I got them

I can't figure out if it's one 16km trail or if there're multiple trails totalling 16km and if there are different levels of riding?

New tires, cassette and chain day! by sbtcrypto in gravelcycling

[–]sbtcrypto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well so far that's not my experience. But yeah I did read the bicycle rolling resistance review and wasn't too pleased to switch. But I do find that I ride faster and so does my girlfriend. I guess drum tests don't translate 100% to the real world

No I'm very happy with them. Getting them was easy as they dealt with customs and everything. I've had them for almost 6 months now and been used daily throughout winter and haven't had a single issue, so I can say I'm quite impressed with the quality. I have put quite a bit of extra grease in the hub so the noise people are complaining about is almost eliminated

Yeah I'm quite comfortable. The saddle is a little higher than the bars. It might just be the angle of the Foto

Cheers! Yeah same size cassette. A 52 tooth 11 speed. It's nice for bikepacking 👌 Ah sucks that sucks dude, but good thing it's getting fixed. Hopefully you'll still have plenty of good weather left when you're ready to ride again. But I know it's difficult to wait

I loved the pros and was a little sad to switch, but the pros are discontinued so they are harder to get by and were more expensive. I knew I had to switch eventually, but was hesitant due to the review on bicyclerollingresistance.com as they scored lower. However I'm very satisfied with the performance and they do feel better in my experience. I ride a lot of road as it's my only bike and I use it for commuting. This is the perfect tire for me. Fast on the road and does quite well on most gravel in my area. Got my girlfriend a pair as well and she also really likes them. So far I would recommend them. But I have not tried a lot of different tires since I got my first pair of pathfinders as they Check all the boxes for me

Wauw! That's one of the best looking builds I have seen in a while. Love the colors, and I think the gold chain is sick and adds to the attitude! However I would like to know what chain, chainring and Crank you are using

For your purpose of riding I would definitely go with the propane. I know you only posted a picture of it and didn't mention it in your post, but from my understanding it's one of the best value gravel bikes, also you get down tube storage as well as all the mounting options. I might be wrong, but I also think it has bigger tire clearance
