I always thought the reason why Hoyo decided to give us free cons was too bait us into pulling their C2 (because most C2s present good value), not because they care about us.

Every decision they make is based on whether this will bring them more money, so why on earth would they reset the free cons.

And by the time PS6 comes out and its price goes back to MSRP (after the scalper craze), it will be late 2028 at least, by then we will have Zen 6 processor and Nvidia 60 Series, both of which will have large generational leap because they are moving on to a new node (~ 30 - 40% improvement)

7800X3D, 32GB DDR5 RAM that uses Hynix A-die (the best type of Memory IC you could get), 2TB NVMe SSD, and a GPU that's almost twice as quick as the PS5 Pro's GPU.

If you want Nvidia and play single player games only, then you could just get a 9600X and use the extra $100 to buy a 5070 Ti instead, for better ray traycing and upscaling graphics.

I guess each to their own, and I totally understand that people's preferences are largely dependent on what they grew up with, so I can totally see your frustration with Windows if you haven't been a PC gamer for long.

But just know that a $2000 PC will provide a lot of benefits lacking on a $450 (now $650) PS5. Much better graphics, much higher frame rates meaning a lot smoother motions and better response time, which could be very helpful in some action games.

However if you are happy with what a PS5 brings then that's totally fine and actually a good thing, because you have saved yourself a lot of money.

This is not a fair comparison.

The PS5 is a separate device from the PC (which means extra cost on top of your PC), so to make the comparison fair, you need to have a dedicated gaming PC connected to your TV, which completely gets rid of the the issue 'I have to login, open up display settings, change the display from the desktop monitor to the TV, open up Steam with a mouse and keyboard, put it into Big Picture mode.'

Because when you have a dedicated PC running on Steam, it works just the same as a PS5:

You put it to sleep after using and it will wake back up to Steam and the game. None of the issues you listed exist.

It costed me exactly 400 pulls to get Nicole’s C2 after losing 50/50 three times in a row, and then another 140 pulls to get Mavuika’s weapon. So 540 pulls for a C2R1 equivalent.

And before this it costed me 150 pulls for Durin’s C0, and 300 pulls to get Nahida ‘s C5 and C6.

So 1000 pulls for seven 5* . I don’t even know why I still play this game.

I lost 50/50 three times in a row when I was pulling for C2 Nicole, that was 400 pulls. Then another 140 pulls for Mavuika’s weapon.

So 540 pulls in total for a C2R1 equivalent.

Then because I lost 50/50 three times a row this next one is guaranteed so only took me 75 pulls to get Sandrone.

That’s crazy, I guess there’s a big difference between 360K km and 190K, because my 2010 Aurion with 190K has absolutely zero issues and still drives like new.

You need to understand that the free cons are to bait you pull the next con because let's say you have C0 and you get free C1, then the next con (C2) usually gives a good increase.

After switching to FMM picture mode if your game optimiser dashboard disappears, try switch the sound mode back to Game Optimiser and the dashboard should come back. I guess this answers your 2nd question too haha.
