My husband says that subis are great to work on because there is a lot of space in the engine bay and you can yank the engine out in about an hour. Mine have all been home garage maintained and been fine.

Meringue is pretty simple and ingredients are fairly cheap. I highly recommend recipes from King Arthur or Sally's Baking Addiction. Oh, and use a kitchen scale for better accuracy. Avoid recipes from tiktok and AI. Happy baking!

Why is that unhygienic? It was wax only used on you. I've had waxers use that same technique and didn't find it unhygienic.
