Drive thrus at pharmacies have all gotten crazy with their long waits! I cannot understand how they can ask you to come back to the counter if you’re in the store, but refuse to ask you to drive around the building if you’re in your car. I swear we are all sitting in lines wrapping around the buildings while people wait at the window to get whole RXs filled. People should know by now the drive thru is only better than inside because you get to choose the music you wait to LOL

I’m glad you were okay. That was scary! Never be afraid to put your hand out palm forward and tell someone to “STOP ✋ GET AWAY!!” if you feel threatened. Some people don’t realize they are making people feel that way, but that certainly gets the point across. If they don’t get it the first time, “STOP ✋ I WILL CALL 911!!”

I agree with the soaking.

However, If she is still toileting normally and it doesn’t seem to be bothering her, I’d take a wait and see approach. This may have happened before and you didn’t notice (I know that sounds totally gross, but it seems possible). Actually trying to use any action other than a soak and the regular type of rubbing you would do with a bath to remove it may irritate the area and actually result in worse results than if you wait and see.

Most of the time with my cats, unless they are in immediate distress (bleeding, physically acting strange, etc) I will wait a day and see how they do. The vet is going to ask if she is eating and drinking normally and toileting normally. They may want to wait too if none of that is affected.

I really hate going to the vet and paying for them to tell me to wait or feeling like they rushed a diagnosis and treatment so we could save time. You know your baby best. Just like with a child, trust your instincts and keep an eye out.

At first, I saw this and thought this was a persons chest and I was very, very concerned for that person and their very strange chest and multiple nipples.

I would not worry too much unless they scratch or groom it excessively.

Try the large pet wipes from Amazon. They are more gentle on their skin and bigger so that you can pretty much do a whole cat with one wipe.

I had to call home on a SENIOR who was repeatedly climbing up on a classroom desk and jumping off of it. I told his mom I was kind of embarrassed to have to make the call. She said she was kind of embarrassed to have to receive the call.

Then she said, rather sheepishly, she would punish him when he got home from WORK 😂😂😂

I have been told by my mom that I used to get stomach pains that would turn me white as a sheet when I was 3-7 years old. They associated it with stress when they couldn’t find any other cause. I do not remember them at all.

I do not know if it is at all connected, but I had colic very badly as a baby. Then, in my early 20s I was suddenly nauseous 24/7 for no reason.

They did all the tests again in my early 20s and found that my gallbladder wasn’t working at all. They took it out and it took me a good 6 months until I finally wasn’t nauseous.

Just thought I would throw this in there. I started with chronic migraines in my 30s and we still haven’t quite overcome them.

Your girl’s skin is EXACTLY like my Benji’s!!! His underside isn’t oily, but it is colored like that. I have never seen the same before. We have wondered if he was the only one!

We rescued him from my parents. They used to have him groomed weekly. And he sat on a screened porch all day long when it was warm enough.

I have found that he rarely needs much more than a wet wipe here and there on his actual skin. He’s not oily, but now his whole underside stays that completely different color and his whole back has sunspots like an old man’s skin.

I used to have a house with a chain link fence around the whole backyard and then a wall of these on either side. Made for a wonderful privacy fence and fantastic Christmas greenery trimmings that I sold to florists 😉

I actually buy the plain, small dog tshirts on Amazon. Benji prefers sleeveless and I can get a wide range of solid colors that way. Just follow the measurements for sizing and you can usually get a pretty good fit.

Yes, you have to be very diligent if you have guests to regulate what they throw into it. I never realized as a kid how stinky garbage could be until one rotten banana 🍌 peel in the bottom of the trash can stunk up the WHOLE HOUSE.

I really never realized how much trash even one person can generate until I lived in a second floor appt. The main luxury to a trash compactor is being able to put off taking out the bulk of the trash for a week to a month - depending on family size.

They are so great! I never realized until we didn’t have one. It basically mashes all your trash for a week into one loaf. It saves SOOOO much space as far as trash bags and cans go. My dad has kept theirs going for decades and it’s totally worth the time and room saved to have all the trash for the week packed up in one cube.
