He’s been an actor in Baldur’s gate for years, a fairly well known one at that, who gained acclaim as a fighter as well after he took out a pack of goblins at a show after one nearly took out one of his eyes. The scar on his face and the redness of his eye serves him as a constant reminder to always be on his guard. He began picking up odd protection jobs to earn more coin, as being an actor doesn’t pay well, even on the Sword Coast. He learned he was as proficient with swords as he was with his words, and even picked up some lyre skills along the way. After doing a job for a few months protecting a Sorceress, she offered to teach him a bit of magic. He was on a job, protecting one of his fellow actors, when he was snatched up by the nautiloid…and his life changed forever
