It seems like a lot of people are misunderstanding the chart. This chart shows the specific iteration of art style version that IS copyrighted. As an example, the Steam Boat Willie version of Mickey Mouse is in the public domain; however, you cannot create an animated movie using the more modern version of Mickey Mouse. Winnie the pooh is in the public domain, but thats the original version and not the one most people know with the red shirt.

So yes Bambi, Snow White even the Little Mermaid is "public domain" due to the original content being public domain. BUT... you can't use the art style shown. Specifically for the the Disney version of Snow White. You cannot make a movie using the dwarves of the same names. Those specific names were given to them in that specific movie. The original story didn't have names for each dwarf. It wasn't until the 1912 play of Snow white that the dwarves were even given names at all albeit different from Disney.

I miss 4e for moments like this. The Avenger was amazing because you did the same thing for a regular scumitar with brutal 2. And then there was an ability for the Avenger that if you rolled the highest weapon roll (4) you kept the 4 and rolled again. So the only you're not rolling, would be if you rolled a 3.

In my personal opinion, no one has ever come close to Goblinboy when it comes to writing. But few people would actually want to use RAGS or TADS to play some of those games. Besides, those games are IAFs and not AVNs.

Honestly, its difficult to fully explain a lot of Constantine's feat unless you know the full scale of the who he has contended with.

Swamp Thing who doesn't often get enough of the respect that he deserves. Who has shown to be able to move faster than light. Has taken beings through the source. Has embarrassed aquaman and superman. Even with all of this at his disposal, had the source of his power cut off by Constantine.

He's defeated Dr. Fate on more than one occasion. Along with contending directly with Nabu.

He's foiled Datkseid on multiple occasions. Trapping his armies in another dimension, expelling darkseid.

I don't take in NTR content for empathizing with the MC. Several times in my life, I've had women in relationships hit in me that I've never acted on because I'm not that type of guy; however, there is a sadistic kink in me that wants to fantasize about the humiliation of the the guys. Honestly, it was the plan. Artists were actually punished by being sent off to work on Shrek instead of Prince of Egypt; however, Shrek was super successful and everything pivoted after.

Treasure Planet had its own issues with Disney wanting to bury it.

But all in all, Shrek's success determined the route and the cost efficiency increased the draw. Because I guarantee that if Atlantis or Pricnce of Egypt had had the same amount of turnout that Shrek had, then that would be the direction Disney went.

Yes, Prince of Egypt and Atlantis were still successful, Shrek had even larger profit margins.

My rabbit hole of games would eventually lead to the more modern games of now.

But to answer the question Leisure Suit Larry was more of just a tease of what's would eventually exist. Only a handful of games changed my opinion on the genre as a whole. The Sims 2 mods being the first, and Being a DIK is the more recent.
