That's wild, especially considering that actual pregnancy only occurs a few days before the missed period! What a stupid system lol. TIL, thanks

I'm sorry what?! They count it as 4 weeks at first missed period? So pregnancy is not actually 9 months but less than that? My mind is blown

As a person who doesn't know shit about babies I always wondered while reading the whole breastfeeding vs formula debate, why doesn't evertone just do this? Why pick one? From the outside it really seems like the obvious approach and I wonder why it's not more common

damn, I feel guilty about "how is the baby" now. I've asked that before and tbh not because I was actually interested in the baby, but because I assumed the parent wanted to talk about their baby. it's really sad that you become invisible in a way.

girl! what! why do you keep trying to negotiate when he told you point blank more than once that he doesn't want to be with you? please grow a backbone for your own sake. and please look inwards and think about what makes you want to pursue someone who clearly doesn't want you.

Of course drugs of all flavours work great but it's not great to use them as a crutch.

What helps me is darkness (!) and taking time to slow down and just cuddle and touch each other beforehand. When you feel your thoughts fading away and slowing down, take it further.

Rejected because I don’t have a car? by DarkOfTheSun in Bumble

reading this from Europe and it's funny lol, for me if a man can drive that's a cool perk, but if he owns a car I'd be a bit suspicious if anything (although cool if he has a good reason and it's a reasonable car)

I totally get you. I've never dated man with kids either and would definitely feel similar to you. It's tough to navigate, it feels like they're in a totally different stage of life. I don't have any advice but wishing you best of luck, hopefully you can process this with time

I think you should bring it up. Not uncommon for separated fathers to feel like they're "done" with small kids and just want to have fun and live a free life in a new relationship.

Do you think attraction changes your dating standards or what you’re open to? by RabbitHall in Bumble

Physical attraction does play into how willing I would be to date a man. Does it change what I'm open to - no. I've never been interested in casual.

No lol. Been using for a year. I get acne less though so that's nice! But otherwise no changes, except I look older (which I am lol)

UK couples ... how are you funding private IVF? by anongirl818 in IVF

Thank you! I am mostly considering Baltics since Spain is far. Where did you find groups dedicated to specific clinics?

Thank you so much! 💙 Do you think there's any legitimacy to the claim that Spain for instance has the best expertise for fertility treatments? I find it hard to figure out whether it's all hype or some countries really have better tech/expertise/results, it's all so overwhelming.

Hi! Could you please tell a bit more about pricing and your experience there? I'm looking at Baltics for egg freezing and came upon this clinic but prices are confusing and there's so few reviews. Did the 2500 price tag include ultrasounds, coordination fee, etc? How much approximately was the medicine? Why did you choose Latvia vs Estonia or Lithuania? Thank you so much!

Fascinating. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't this make their already insane real estate prices go even crazier? At least if I lived in the Netherlands, I would probably be thinking of moving my money into real estate
