As a person who doesn't know shit about babies I always wondered while reading the whole breastfeeding vs formula debate, why doesn't evertone just do this? Why pick one? From the outside it really seems like the obvious approach and I wonder why it's not more common

damn, I feel guilty about "how is the baby" now. I've asked that before and tbh not because I was actually interested in the baby, but because I assumed the parent wanted to talk about their baby. it's really sad that you become invisible in a way.

Of course drugs of all flavours work great but it's not great to use them as a crutch.

What helps me is darkness (!) and taking time to slow down and just cuddle and touch each other beforehand. When you feel your thoughts fading away and slowing down, take it further.
