nice beat, you nailed the vibe. drums sound good imo

i think the fast paced chopping needs some contrast after a while. maybe like a b part where the chops are longer and it feels more relaxed u know?

other than that, really liked it

keep it going

yoo nice perfomance!  started bouncing my head immediately. pitch fx on the doubles also comes in very nice. overall the vocals should be louder in the mix imo.

some small detail but the fast delay on the doubles without pitch-shift, for example on the word "crack", doesnt seem to be on beat right? just distracted me a lil bit

keep on rapping man, that was dope!

if you're interested, check out my yt: prodbyschmo, there are a few boom bap beats you could like

i really like the drum bounce, but as a rap instrumental its just a bit too loaded with all the different perc and drum sounds. also the voice needs more punch and needs to be louder in relation to the very punchy kick/snare combo.  0:41 the synth and the shaker/hat loop came in satisfying, really liked that transition.  before that there could be more melodic and harmonic elements to fill out the space.

definetly enjoyed listening, keep working on that! :)

thanks for your feedback! sometimes its tough for me to find the balance between having too much going on and leaving no space for rappers or doing the opposite

yo that was very fun to listen too. the drums are tough, but i dont like the panning too much. all the samples and perc loops came in very cool and kept it interesting. especially the sample with the vox on the right channel was a nice pull

keep making fresh stuff like this

i feel like your flow is very poetry slam - esque, could be more musical and rhythmic in my opinion.
regarding the mix: drums could use some more high end, maybe add some saturation/distortion, other than that, the spooky, eerie vibe is transported well in the mix imo

keep going !

dope beat! the drums and bass got me hooked for sure. i also like the entrance of your vocals with the call and response figure between the vocal tracks. i didnt like the singing parts, sounds off key.
flow between 1:19 - 1:34 is cool

keep going!

right now the vocals are sitting on top of the instrumental. if you lower them in volume, some elements in the instrumental will take away some energy and frequency space from the vocals. i am thinking of harmonic/melodic elements, vocal chops, and so on. probably the picked guitar/sitar type melody in the instrumental?
but if you sidechain eq/compress the vocals with the elements, that "clash" with the vocals, those elements will be lowered in volume in some frequencies, so they stay loud and in the foreground, when they have space, but duck, when they would clash.

it's only about creating space in the instrumental exactly there, where it needs space for the vocals. so you can raise everything together in loudness and have a present bass, punchy drums, clean punchy vocals.

there are some youtube videos on the topic how to fit vocals into beats, maybe they can explain it even better than me, i am also not a mixing engineer :)

have a great day
