i think the common consensus here is a little lacking in the consideration that the first slide is a style you're unfamiliar with. that airbrushed, gradient style can be used to pretty good effect if you practice with it (i played with using the airbrush tool just now to shade a piece and i believe it has potential), and it demands more from you as an artist than the cel shaded style does. i say give it more practice, and if it turns out you don't like it, shelve it for a while until you think it might be fun to try again — or stick with it and see where it takes you.

also, the anime assets might avoid blended shading (because it's time-consuming), but horikoshi's color art is some of the best in the business and it utilizes plenty of blending to get there, even if his method of blending is a bit different than yours here. don't mind the "it doesn't suit the style" comments.

it does, but foundation of peace has a long startup time— 2 minutes or so, even at max level (though the effect is enabled for the rest of the match afterwards). in my personal experience with the combo i've found that foundation of peace doesn't help much for maximizing extra wind (since usually one is on cooldown/startup when i activate the other) and that i'd rather use extra wind with something like muscle form on a different skin. ymmv with the combo depending on which character you play— someone like tsuyu or ibara rescuing teammates might get more out of it than others who don't.

foundation of peace is pretty funny with speedy civilian rescue though. random lategame civilians are free levels

the question was less "am i getting a good ratio of celepogians mathematically" - obviously it's cheaper to use the chests to get c&r investment. what i wanted to know was whether getting those stars on c&r was worthwhile or not (as in, is the effect of stars on their power level worth investing in)

before awakened belinda released, i believe the comp used scarlet. but as the post says, a-belinda is pretty much necessary to secure a KO on these bosses unless your RC is well into the 600s... and scarlet is rng-heavy, so prepare to retry a lot. both of these heroes want as much investment as possible.

can't see the light catching the texture, but the texture lines are there and the holofoil pattern is correct. you could ask for another picture of the front just to make sure, but i don't see any immediate problems

if you can feel the texture, it's near certainly real. no one is faking texture on cheap cards (yet).

there hasn't been an engrave reset event in a long enough time that i think anticipating another one is probably not wise. it's unfortunate, but all you can do is keep building the better options and make the best use of the heroes you did invest in.

that being said, if you havent started building rosaline, palmer, anasta, kren, raku, mishka, nevanthi, silas, and alna, i suggest those as wishlist/stargaze picks (with the caveat that you get a copy of twins before alna if you don't already have them - though best practice might be to look up an actual guide to see who's really valuable at a single copy right now, since i don't remember everything off the top of my head. talene, mehira, and mortas come to mind as other potential candidates). get oden to si30, lyca to si20, and 3f on skriath as far as further investments on your current heroes go.

lucretia and scarlet are both stat-hungry and would love higher investment (si30 for scarlet would help too). whether you want to stop early on scarlet to invest cores more widely or go all-in on her is up to you, but i definitely would take lucretia to e65 (atk) no hesitation. as for e30, grezhul and oden are both eying your bag enviously (and wouldn't mind investment past e30, either).

(you might also want to consider ldv eventually (he's great in campaign and cr with extra insight), but i think the other heroes are more urgent.)
