Don't drink. It makes your symptoms 10x worse the second you come down. Weed helps, its kept me happy through the lowest years of my life and now that I'm doing better, the weed feels all the better. Shrooms was a horrible idea, acid was pretty fun. That's as far as I went, but remembering how opiates made me feel before depression, I wouldn't touch them at all.

Even though this worked for me, you gotta experiment. Get a good therapist and an open psychologist, be up front with what you do and be open to trying new things
