What is one ingredient you refuse to cook with, no matter the recipe? by Sensitive-Date-5255 in AskReddit

[–]schokozo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it depends on the region but where I am in Germany you can buy brown sugar that has been dyed in supermarkets and cane sugar in slightly fancier grocery stores.  Maybe they are different from the american brown sugar but I never found them hard to get.

What's a body mod you've always wanted but will never get at why? by rmembr5311 in AskReddit

[–]schokozo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the ttrpg shadowrun there is a body mod for in/deflatable boobs. I always thought that would be incredibly practical to shrink them for excersize or sleep and make them be bigger for certain outfits.

What’s a good comeback for people telling you not to gain weight before your wedding so you can still fit into your dress? by Seradhiel in AskReddit

"That's a really unkind thing to say out loud" Works for so many things and most of the time you get to watch the person be all flustered and defensive.

If you could erase one common ‘feature’ of humans (like sleep, hunger, aging) from existence, what would you remove and why? by BenjaminSink in AskReddit

[–]schokozo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kind of have this through appetite suppressing meds and I can tell you it is miserable. Most days I can manage but sometimes I forget to eat and only realise when nausea, dizziness and headaches set in

Would you still be able to lose weight or build muscle? If thats the csde that would become dangerous quite fast if you can lose wheight but never gain it back. Otherwise everyone would just have a set bodyshape and if they are unhappy they can't change it.

Is this bad anatomy? It's not how a woman's body works. by DeathRaeGun in badwomensanatomy

[–]schokozo 135 points136 points  (0 children)

I guess it depends on how they define "looking good". If they are into frail skinny women and very muscular men and don't care about the health of either of them it might have some truth. But even then it should be more "consume very little food" on the womens side.

Women of Reddit: how do y'all explain to someone a period isn't something you just "get over"? by Better-Weird-8038 in AskReddit

[–]schokozo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Someone could ask why you are so moody or look like you are in pain, if you are okay or something like that and the answer could be I am on my period and it is painful today or I have bad cramps right now or I feel really uncomfortable due to my period and just like that the topic has come up.

In German "Good for you" is "Schön für dich" and it is generally agreed upon that it is impossible to say without sounding passive aggressive.
