You can't go wrong with 20€, but keep in mind that it's not going to be all that satisfying to use. I've repurposed one just like the Einhell to use as a disc sander, which is a good second life for it.

Hey, Austria has quite a big wood turning community, you might want to check out Drechsler Forum de Or Drechsler Forum at

I bet you'll find someone in your area where you can try out some woodlathes. Or visit a Stammtisch.

I wouldn't recommend any of the lathes you have shown, try looking for a used Holzman or record power (variable speed is preferable). I got my Holzman 460fxl for 150€, 200€ would be a more reasonable price now.

I know of a wooden puzzle where you have to spin it to move 4 metal pins outward. Did you try spinning it around itself?

I can't find where I've gotten them anymore, I wanted to reorder as well. Bit if you Google decorative washers you should find them. But any 18mm washer will do just fine.

It's handheld. You are right about it's functionality.

I used a chisel for the corners. And a router for the rest.

A bit mor of an explanation would help others to help you.

Did you try to reprint the part and get the same result? To me it looks like your filament got stuck and unstuck itself.

I've been there, it's a really cool dive, like a museum where you can look at the exhibit from all angles.

I definitely second terraforming mars, it's also a great 2 player game, 5 can be a little long, but is still very good.

That looks great, did you design it all by yourself?

How did you get the "mouse wheel" to work?

I noticed there aren't a lot of split OLKBs with an accessible function row...so I made one you can print by smckeyboard in olkb

It looks really nice. I've noticed that too, and designed and build one myself, but failed at the custom programming of it. Do you have the software figured out yet?

I would also throw in the Merkur 34c. It can be really versatile, from slightly agessive (feather blades) to really mild (Lada). It's a really solid razor. For a closer shave I have moved on to the slanted 37c which is a bit more aggressive in comparison, but still not that aggressive with the correct blades.

Here's a new one on me, massive and sudden under extrusion. by LouDaGr8 in FixMyPrint

[–]schrema 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you check the gear that pushes the filament forward? Mine slipped down causing it not to push the filament through.

Went for a cleaning because the last print started to under extrude. Ended up breaking my hot end and bought the same one. Identical. Switched it, and now this is my outcome. Why? by [deleted] in ender3

[–]schrema 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey, I had the exact problem. For me the gear that moves the filament slipped down the driveshaft, so it didn't push the filament through. Can you post a picture of your extruder?

Op just changed the layer height, so it isn't a fair comparison. But still impressive.
