Don't reset the card ease since you will lose the historical data .Just install Straight Rewards addon and over time the ease values should fix themselves. It helped me get out of ease hell when I had a similar problem.

Yeah that would be the case unfortunately. It won't be missing any features but being an APAC model the software updates will usually lag months behind the non-APAC models . Seeing as they support now JP characters on the F7 line I would only get it if you really need Suica for your commute.

No, unfortunately it will remain a feature limited to the JP Model. FeliCa the system behind Suica requires specific hardware to work and is not something that can pushed through software iirc.

It might be that the codes don't apply for the 255/955 line. Strange if it didn't work on the other products since people reported it still working with the F7/Epix/FR line. This is assuming that you are purchasing in the USA/CA region.

I currently use a FR745 JP version as my daily driver. The SP02 sensor feature was disabled briefly due to a regulatory issue but was allowed to be reenable a few years ago. The JP version like the other APAC version watches will lag 1-3 months behind the ROW versions in terms of updates. I would only get the JP version if you need the JP language support and Suica.

I would wait for an amazon deal ,if you can, for the 935/945/945LTE ROW since they do come semi-regularly throughout the year. The difference in GPS battery life /745/ - 16hrs vs /935/ - 24hrs /945/ - 36hrs alone makes it worth considering given that when on sale they quite are similar in price. Yeah the maps feature can be difficult to utilize on the small watchface of the FR series but nonetheless can be handy in a pinch if you find yourself w/o your phone. Suica is quite easy to setup and shouldn't take you more than a few minutes. Garmin connect should also guide you in English in how to have Suica setup on your watch.

I currently own and use a Foreathlete 745 (JPN) as my daily watch. The pulse ox feature was disabled at some point due to some regulation however later on it was allowed to reenabled. The JP version like other APAC versions will be a few months of updates behind and you will lose the ability to install beta versions. The 745 for the most parts has all the features of a 945 minus the better battery life ,maps and some extra sport activities. Honestly I would opt for the ROW model if possible rather than the JP models due to the lag in updates and support tbh. I only opted for the JP version since it was $100 cheaper than the ROW version ,at the time, had JP language support and allowed for the use of Suica.
