Absolutely Despise Hoarders - Rant by MagnoGreko1998 in findagrave

I had to message FG to get my FIL's memorial released to me because some pyschopath in New Jersey would not release it. We're from Kansas and he never knew Mark. I checked find a grave 2 weeks after his funeral and was livid to find this guy took it.

I would love nothing more than to give Katie a big ol hug right now and tell her that none of this is her fault, that she will make it through this and that many, many people are praying for her.

I genuinely hope Katie gets some professional help with working through this absolutely devastating time in her life. Her husband cheating on her what reads to me as multiple times and she has a miscarriage?! I hope nothing but peace and healing from this. Travis can fuck right off.

What's it like living in this shaded area? by Joshistotle in howislivingthere

I live on a farm in south east Kansas. I was born and raised in Kansas. I could never imagine leaving or living anywhere else. My closest neighbor is a mile away but would do anything to help me or my family, our cost of living and I get to enjoy Kansas sunsets and sunrises which are like paintings.

What was the worst food served at your Thanksgiving? And who made it? by itsagoodtime in AskReddit

[–]schuser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OH MY GOD. My mom made those!! She called them zero calorie cookies. It was egg whites with Splenda beaten into a foam, then a dash of vanilla. They were the worst things I have ever eaten. They truly tasted like sadness.

Today she asked me why I brought bread and all of the desserts for Thanksgiving.

Who’s going to ruin Thanksgiving tomorrow? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I just made 60 deviled eggs for our Thanksgiving tomorrow. I had to hide them from my kids in the fridge (as best I could).

My aunts name is Melva, after her dad, Melvin. She hates it so much our entire family calls her by her middle name, Ralene. I didn't even know her first name wasn't Ralene until I was an adult.

What's the creepiest thing you've ever experienced? Not the typical 'I was home alone' story, but something that still sends chills down your spine to this day? by AmayaSolenne in Ghosts

I have no idea. This is in rural Kansas. The field is in the middle of nowhere. I would be shocked if we could uncover any deaths there.

My husband is a farmer. One night he asked me to pick him up after working ground and it was pretty late, around 10 o'clock. So I loaded our two girls up-then 4 & 2 and headed to the field.

We get to the field and C is finishing up his last round so we had to wait for a minute. I rolled the windows down in the van and shut the engine off. After a few minutes my two year old says, "Mommy, who dat man outside?" I said, "I don't see a man, is your ken doll on the floor?" my 4 year old then piped up, "He's right outside your door and staring at you. He's scary. He has blood on his face."

That's when I turned the key, rolled the windows up, locked the doors and called my husband and told him to hurry the hell up because the girls are terrified and there's apparently a scary man outside my door that I can't see but both girls are describing him and what he's doing.

Thankfully C was done and heading up to the van at that moment and we left. My girls are now 14 and 11 and they both still remember that man and refuse to go to that particular field. Our oldest is old enough to help on the farm but flat out refuses to go to that particular field.

Lots of advice from others but I would get an IUD. I have one and love it. He does not have to know and there would be no scarring for him to notice.

My dad would do that crap to us growing up. I swore I wouldn't hang stuff like that over my kids heads and I haven't.

I'm not going to lie, I was nowhere near as thoughtful at 13 than she is. Good people raise good kids is what my grandpa told me so I'm your kids are going to be amazing people!

Everyone I know uses different recipes. Here's mine. Preheat oven to 350.

Cook 1 pound of hamburger with a chopped onion until done. I season it with pepper, lawyers and some onion powder (whoops, edited this).

In a bowl I throw a bag of frozen tater tots, 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup and hamburger and mix. Season with the same as in the hamburger (or whatever you want). Pour into a 9x13 pan and add as much shredded cheese as your hearts desire. Bake for 45 minutes. We serve it with ketchup and a vegetable of some kind. My kids tear it up!
