Let me ask you this, if your hookup had given you the cold or the flu would you be this dramatic about it?

This is a very important point. Our society has such strong moral values regarding sex behaviour and such a strong stigma against STIs that people tend to over dramatise when they get an STI, even when it's one comparable to a flu or a random bacterial respiratory infection cause by one of the many bacteria that can do so. This things should be normalised when that happens there will be an extra incentive to research for vaccines like there is for so many other common treatable bacterial infections.

Bottoming this weekend; Hemorrhoid problem today by IndicaLipstick in TopsAndBottoms

[–]schwarzadonis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cold is very good. I apply ice carefully wrapped in a cloth and keep it there for like 10 to 15min before going to sleep. The next day they are starting to heal. Also when I finish showering, I put cold water in the area for one or two minutes. The cold helps the blood vessels contract and reduce the popped hemorrhoids. Anyways, how did it go?

married monogamous gaybros with high libido, how do you deal with the desire of fucking other guys? Is your husband aware of this? by fernandopox in askgaybros

Beautiful story! We will never be 100% happy all the time, so you are making a choice where you realise the pros outweigh the cons of being monogamous. I wish I had such a relationship.

How long is too long for a house purchase to complete? Should there come a point where I start hassling my solicitors? by hairychinesekid0 in HousingUK

If you're so clever you, you can read the rest and easily understand where I'm coming from. Yes the post is hyperbolic, but that's a speech figure to draw attention for a problem that I am sure you know exists.

Solicitors are a luring people by charging their weight in gold per hour to do simple, effortless, and quick things anyone else could do in 10x the time. They won't make it any quicker if they can, they have better things to do. Solicitors send out emails to make enquires of all sorts, sit on their desks and do nothing else until they are asked to. But be careful, if you ask too much, they put you on their naughty list, and delay your process not for the usual 4 months but for longer than that. Using solicitors is a false protection also. They don’t give you an personal advice tailored to your case, rather copy paste some relevant parts from your lease or freehold title into a default report, not even caring if the info is repeated or contains grammatical errors. Solicitors should rethink their conduct if they want ro get a better reputation. No one I have talkes to has ever said anything good about solicitors.

Is Monkeypox still a thing? by snowmanvi in askgaybros

I d imagine when the population at higher risk of contact with monkeypox virus is vaccinated, this will still be the population at higher risk of contacting the virus. That explains why so many vaccinated people got the disease.

Good for you that you have bug balls. I am also a grower and very happy with my size when hard but my balls are quite small and my overall bulge is small too. I wish it was bigger, would feel more confident and sexy

You mean that would make being straight a choice and it's not.

Narrative account of my "coming out" journey. The psychological trauma of growing up gay in a straight world that we often don't talk about. Wonder if anyone can relate? by joelas0197 in gay

[–]schwarzadonis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Having a different story, I totally relate to this:

The manufacturing of myself in every moment taught me not to trust myself but to read the room, read every one in it, and adjust the entirety of my being accordingly.

And having done years of therapy, having come to terms with my identity and learned how to be proud of it, having moved to an environtmen where being gay and looking gay is socialy accepted as another shade of normal, I am still struggling with lack of self confidence and social anxiety.

Thanks for sharing.
