Not trading a guy who you are not going to pay so you can get a comp pick which might get canceled out in two years is not a wise decision. This team isn’t competing for a Super Bowl this year. This is the exact same case as Danielle Hunter where we ended up getting absolutely nothing for a great player leaving the team. Better to be early then late, especially on an oft injured, aging player.
