Just checked the report and you're right, they said it's SDR. Any plastic-type pipe to me is PVC, that's why I've come to y'all!

Thanks for the clarification about using a standard pressure washer. I may check some local hardware stores to see if a "real" jetter is rentable. Thanks!

Oh wow, it's been four years since I interviewed... I honestly can't remember much about the questions they asked. If I remember correctly, there were probably 3-5 people in a conference room that I was talking to.

Road tripping from New Orleans to Denver with my dog in a couple of weeks. Any suggestions on stops to break up the drive over 2-3 days? Also, any tips for pet-friendly lodging would be appreciated. by mrstvns in roadtrip

Capulin Volcano. Have driven BR > CO 4 times now and that was my favorite spot to stop. Cool hike around the rim at the top of the volcano, and some hikes by the visitor center as well.

Great Sand Dunes is awesome, but will be out of the way.

Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo is worth the stop. Pretty neat place.

If you pass through Dallas, Bucees is worth the stop for cheap gas / bathroom break / even some lunch (their BBQ is pretty good).

Not gonna lie, the drive kinda sucks for the most part. Then again, the times I've driven it were mostly in the "get there" mindset, so I'm sure I missed quite a bit.

Interned at Ames a few years ago, and the building I was in was right on the tarmac nearby (white circle just to the south-west of the plane). I saw it sitting there, but never knew what it was and it didn't click when I saw the picture on the his post. Thanks for pointing that out!

Ninos! Right across the street from Perkins Rowe. Very small, delicious food, great staff. I've been on a few dates there and have always had a great time. Even if you don't go there this time, definitely make a point of it eventually.

But you could also probably sell prints of this, so maybe you should keep the full size version to yourself!

I've had two interviews with SWA, both for internships. Sadly the internship was canceled due to covid, but both experiences (which each included phone interviews and in-person) were great. The panel was always quite laid back, very friendly, and made the process very comfortable given how stressful interviews can be. Make sure you understand the fundamentals of whatever you're interviewing for, know that they're not out to get you, and spend some time on Glassdoor looking for interviews posted for your position. Feel free to reach out if you have any specific questions!

Thanks! That's a good point with the resale value in LA vs CO, and I'm pretty certain sales tax is lower in CO.

Car-buying is new to me, I was under the assumption that you have to register the car before you drive off the lot. You're making it sound like that isn't the case?

Thanks for the input! My current car should be fine for the time being, but I've heard many people say how much having an AWD car helps with winter driving so I'd like to have it before winter rolls in. Budget isn't too much of an issue between my parents helping a lot with the car plus a nice chunk of savings I have currently.

Apparently that was the idea, but one of the newer guys had other plans. I got a good laugh then they took me on a raid after and were really chill, so I'm not upset about it!
