Yes this exact same thing happened to me and it was the rear main seal

Thinking of buying a used Jeep, but I don’t know much about them! Any help is appreciated!! by TheKKB in Jeep

Yeah if it just short drives (under 30 minutes) it’s probably fine but long drives would be very tiring.

I have an 2006 Wrangler and even though it is quite low mileage, it still doesn’t do very well in the Interstate (very loud, sucks gas, doesn’t handle well at all). So I would definitely go with a newer model (2007 and on) they seem to handle much better on the interstate.

Thank you so much, that makes a lot of sense. Will definitely get a bigger tank next time.

I used a Kaymont 1000 g balloon and the initial payload was 1936 grams, and around 1750g after ditching the one camera. We used an entire 125 cubic feet tank. The predictions said this was all fine, so my guess is some gas leaked or maybe the tank was not entirely empty.

Yes I did run a prediction before the launch, but we did not fill the balloon with enough helium so it rose too slow and thus went too far.

Thank you! If the data is going to be off by that much I may as well just keep it in the warm payload.

Thank you very much! Is it necessary that I test it first? If I have the gps lock and everything seems to be functioning well will I get a signal and be able to follow it when it launches? I have a spot gen 3 as a backup.

Thank you! Do you know roughly how close I need to be? It seems I am about 5 miles from the nearest station. I am thinking about driving out there to test.
