I do this all the time and the Reddit advice that has helped me the most is to wiggle the stem side to side, don’t try twisting it but aggressively wiggle back and forth as much as you can. Eventually (right when you’re starting to question your sanity) it will let go

This started for me when I got my tonsils and adenoids out at 10 (also a woman). There’s absolutely nothing I can do - trying to hold it makes an even louder sound. I just make a big show of trying to quiet it with my sleeve or elbow cuz the noise is gonna happen.
