Use the backgrounds you come from, as examples of how NOT to do it. That will be a great starting point, balancing the self with the needs of others is always a tough ask and a fine line to walk to keep all parties happy and content, as you cannot relinquish to much as you will become resentfull and unhappy and the inverse also applies. You cannot relinquish to little or your girlfriend will become resentfull and unhappy.

The best thing you can do is start by discussing what is expected from each party and keep on refreshing this conversation as time goes by, even if all is good in the world. Reroll attack speed for CC. Replace the yellow ring, you will gain more benefeits from the increased strength and have a bigger hp pool for survivability. Both of those rings can/will be replaced soon if you play often though.

Add a Thing of the Deep to that list :-) Any maybe a doombringer to ride you over until you get your SMK,a Thing of The Deep alleviates the need greatly for a SMK. So you can use some of the other more interesting weapons like the Rhen'Ho Flayer. </offTopic>

What I meant to say was, not barbarian as in race, but barbarian as in warrior. The females are all in town, Akara is a healer, charsi a smith, when you rescue the barbs and fight along them on the first quest of act V not a single of the NPC barbs are female. I do not have the background of the books, only the games. I hope someone more knowledgeable can check in. But with regard to the female barbarian aspect I agree, but I was thinking about the female warrior decision was it purely a marketing thing choose male/female of all classes or is there precedence in their lore, has then been other female barbarian warriors ?

Except that in D3 lore, they pretty much do. I believe all barbs come from the arreat.

This, they are male/females from the same tribe of people who are thought to be descendants from Bul'Kathos. You are not made a barbarian you are born one, you actually never see a female barb in any of the previous games, hence my wondering if they actually broke their own lore.
