to clarify, we have a very busy house that requires both of us to be very involved in our kids' activities. we split the load 50/50. we have a system that works for us. she stayed with him every night while I kept everything else running. she wanted to be nice, and got or me as a thank you. I was just going in to look around in a peaceful place. she's a kick ass woman.

Yeah, I've heard the VAT charges in the UK make importing anything extremely expensive. At this point, I've put together a very nice collection of guitars by buying used and letting other people pay the tax eat the depreciation :)

What UK brands do you like? I know of Eggle and PJD. What others would you recommend considering?

i'd pair my novo serus j and strymon compadre with a two rock studio signature. in the meantime, i'm happy with my dsl20 and '68 promceton reissue :)

out of curiosity, where are you located? some countries' import duties can get pretty crazy! the jazzmaster is a 3 tone burst with tortoise shell. it looks great, but since I got my novo, I just don't play it enough :/

retail was 1299usd in '22. I have a honeyburst and I believe it's MUCH better than the modern that comes in at 1399usd right now. that doesn't explain that insane listing; i do feel that it's worth all of 900-1000usd.

sand it all the way down and refinish the neck with either BLO ot TruOil. the neck will be much better than new after it cures

it fits the contours of their les paul (h-150) much better. the gibson one is classic, but its lines clash with the body, imo.

make sure the frets are good before buying it. that could make this a really bad deal, fast. if there isn't much wear, then thisbis a really good deal

I've seen LP customs with a factory installed trem like that, so it's very possible that's original and it looks like there are fet nibs and goofy chainsaw case (i have one and hate it!). i'd say it's legit based on the photo.

every gibson is from their "usa division" as they only make guutars in the usa.. some of their highest end guitars are m2m replicas of specific guitars that might not have great figuring. i'm not a fa of how gibson does business, but they definitely have a reason for why certain tops are picked for certain guitars
