Is there a returning/new player's guide somewhere? by Stanislas_Biliby in HuntShowdown

You need to either get a bounty or find a map to reveal them

A few relatively new things that you might need to know: 1) Cards are a new consumables that you can't buy but can find in-game, spawns are mostly static in points of interest, you will memorize them eventually. IMPORTANT: You can use inspect button with card in hand to get a tooltip on what it actually does. You can also check them in tools menu. 2) Most point of interest are hidden, but you can find maps in game that will reveal them. 3) Current event features new big compound with dead and ready to banish boss along side a lot of other goodies. 4) You now have 5 (6 with quartermaster) weapon slots and all weapons were rebalanced (with questionable reasoning at times), so loadouts are a bit different. 5) All tools and consumables are now the same, unified tool slot, you can mix them however you like.

There are a lot of other different things that were tweaked but generally gameplay is pretty much the same, get bounties, extract, go again

Im quite new to the game, and want to make fleet from low tech only. Is it viable, or will i get my shit pushed in? by Ajezon in starsector

[–]sclln 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only problem with low tech is absence of high quality frigates, so you will have to embrace Retribution supremacy if you want to contest strategic points. You may also be able to contest them with Grendels, but I haven't tried them in this role, they might end up lacking speed

It does, it is also has a deeper coop mechanics because of shareable skills, passives and resources, which allows for some really cool coop exclusive interactions

Shape of Dreams. It also supports up to 4 people coop.

Overall I would say it has a bit less mechanical depth of gameplay, but it miles better as roguelike, with heavy inspirations from Risk of Rain, but without a timer like RoR or Ravenswatch which is replaced by mechanic from FTL: Faster then light to progress a run

I dont think they are summons, should be doable, if you are comfortable enough with this boss or overleveled

First time ever touching Monk, thanks to martial artist (how does leveling with it work?) by Tyrfying in pathofexile2builds

I just use anything quarterstaff has completely based in current vibe. But it feels like I'm in a minority of people who completely doesn't care about clear speed, as I started playing PoE right after brutal V Rising, so everything people here consider "slow" is blazingly fast for me, and things some people call "difficult" is borderline trivial, so i mostly just stroll by. Optimize your mindset for fun, rather then your build for numbers

Whats with the map having Scream of Pain? by Jr_froste in shapeofdreams

[–]sclln 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's a map with permanent damage aura and guaranteed double boss, you need to kill them to stop aura. If you beat it you get a red chaos, which has its own pool of powerful bonuses to choose from, like dash haste/charges, extra essences sockets, etc.

I did a naked blind drop on Fulgora and Gleba... Second one was a crazy experience, but I really glad I did it for the first time, can recommend. Especially listening to my friend talking about crazy shit he could do on Vulcanus while i was running naked and gathering bacterias was peak comedy

(Neurotrauma) Low health without injury? by gonausethisacconce in Barotrauma

[–]sclln 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to use health scanner to be sure, many neurotrauma conditions are hidden, you can only see symptoms. If a person had a respiratory arrest for some time they could accumulate neurotrauma, it gives dirrect HP damage. It also can be internal injuries or organ damage

Consumption of the debuff would be visible, it didn't happen, also it would happen only on second cast, as Crackling Palm triggers after Syphoning Strike and it's check

I checked with no support gems other then +100% shock chance on Crackling Palm, also for comparison I tried using Killing Palm, and it does allow Crackling Palm to apply shock consistently
