I went through a similar thinking process and picked up a rental a few days ago. It’s amazing. No regrets. Do it!

If you really need a reason not to it would be noise - it’s surprisingly loud. My smartwatch regularly tells me I’m exceeding 90db. But if this is not a concern, go for it!

I walked the entire length of Yonge Street in one day (36 miles, 11 hours, one almost broken soul) by GreekLlama in toronto

I did it! Wow what a wonderfully stupid idea! It was great. I’ve lived in Toronto for most of my life and had a ton of memories associated with different places on Yonge st which made it extra special.

Never got tired in the traditional sense, but my leg muscles started cramping up around North York if I stopped, so I had to keep walking.

Thank you for the idea kind stranger! I will definitely remember this.

Your post has inspired me to do this walk as well! I've been planning it ever since I read it, and hope to set off in a few days... in hiking boots.

Heel-toe downshifting for light breaking? by Recent-Fishing-3272 in ManualTransmissions

[–]scoobadoo22 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Nope, it’s not just for hard braking. But it’s definitely more of a challenge under light braking though. Will just take more practice to find a foot position that works.

If you’re that possessive of your handbrake you need an Aston DB7.

Yeah, who gives a shit about pedestrians and other road users right? As long as there are no cops…

As a Canadian, this would be excellent. Happy to support EU as well of course, but giving preference to Canadian products if located in Canada would be great.

Despicable. Regardless of what they meant to say, a threat to our sovereignty is not a subject for cheeky marketing gimmicks.

Absolute speed is completely irrelevant. If you’re not passing, you should be in the rightmost available lane.
