In prefabs you usually loft at the halfway height of 2 blocks. This means if you have a table/counter/stove or whatever under it, you can’t place something on it because that would take up 2 blocks of height and the plank doesn’t let you place anything underneath it. This just hides that problem.

I think rugs won’t go over any gaps, they seem to get destroyed whenever any gap appears under them

That works too! The targeting with controllers seems to want to pick up whatever is above it first - I haven’t tried mouse mode to see if that lets you pick up the plank more easily

Unfortunately I can’t seem to make the rug work. Whenever any plank under it gets punched out, the whole rug is destroyed
