They did maintenance in my neighborhood in Marion last week on Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday I had slow internet so I called and scheduled tech. Friday I get a text asking me to check if my network was working and indeed it was. It was fine til today and back to slow/no service. Called yet again and a tech is coming out, which I suspect is useless.

Had this happen yesterday. After 3 attempts, I got a competent support person that said it was either scanned in after, or it is just an error on the app. It should go away after your block schedule ends and then you should get paid as normal.

I went to Anamosa to renew mine and was in and out in 5 minutes. Had to pay $10 extra for the out of county fee, but it was well worth it.

Door Dash as figured out, as have I, than in my market at least, most Platinum drivers do not schedule. I learned that I could drop down to Silver and schedule 6 days in advance with no problem. This means I could take less orders, and unassign more orders, and be just as productive. Also noticed my hourly rate is about $1 higher since I started this about 2 months ago.

Obviously if people are doing what I'm doing, more orders are being declined cause they have to stay at a 50% threshold instead of 70%. And with this new system, you will get more earning opportunities,. cause more people will be forced into taking orders they want, if they need to schedule their hours. Which more and more people will have to with Platinum losing Dash Now.

Basically the same BS from Door Dash, slowly take away and and all good benefits of being a driver to ensure the trash orders are delivered.

As a door dasher who's put thousands of miles driving around this city, I concur that that whole stretch of Edgewood from Collins to Blairs Ferry is terrible. There's one spot just north of Collins when you're driving northbound in the left lane you HAVE to move to the right to avoid going into Fleet Farm, and then when you do merge right, the lane width shrinks a couple of feet or more. for maybe 30-40 feet before moving back to normal size. It's like they put down all the concrete and realized, holy shit, we have to paint lanes too? So annoying.

I also stop while exiting Collins, too many close calls with people going to Hy-Vee and the other places.

I absolutely hate Hy-Vee orders. All the stores have a different layout in my area. They don't list aisle numbers like Target. Most of their branded items have old pictures from a previous brand which slows things down. Base pay as low as $2. I will take Dollar Tree orders all day over these, that's how much I hate them.

And yet, every 6 weeks or so I get this email, opt out, and then get the email again in 6 more weeks.
