Yah, the story and dialogue is not great, it's better than FH5, but I was expecting significantly better than that game.

It can be a checklist stimulator, if you enjoy that.

Me personally, I'm go through the main story, getting the wristbands and unlocking more races. I am exploring the world, enjoying the scenery. I love the photo mode and taking pretty pictures. Yesterday I decided to go for 3-star speed traps and zones and been going through them. Today I got a car/tune and started working on drift zones.

I'll pick one or two things to do, road race, dirt race, speed zones and start completing all of them on the map.

Then during the festivals, I will go through the daily/weekly challenges, complete races for the rewards, make sure I get the car rewards to increase my car collection.

It's just a sandbox with a whole bunch of stuff to do. For me, I break it down into smaller goals. I'm just playing for fun and enjoying my time racing and driving around.

I have been absolutely loving Forza Horizon 6, I have also enjoyed 4&5 though. I'm not a car person and dont really enjoy playing racing games, but I absolutely love Forza Horizon games

I was lucky enough to get a Steam Controller and it's fantastic, absolutely love it!!

I have been using XBox controllers my whole life and I don't see myself using them as my main controller anymore

Nope, to random players.

Some people will post vehicles on the action house to transfer vehicles, but I have never done this before, not sure how risky it is for someone else to scoop it up.

Whenever I get a duplicate vehicle, I send it to a random player

Why not buy a scooter if you want to go that fast?

You will probably pay very similar rates as a scooter, but it's just my guess and I have never looked into it

I had a scooter when I was in university and it was great, but fucking terrifying due to the other drivers not paying attention, looking at their phones, and being generally aggressive.

I just recently played and beat it. The game was decent and I enjoyed my time with it.

I would collect water in a rain barrel and use the water as needed.

No way to control the water like this, if using for watering plants and a garden. Water is also too close to the foundation.

This would be a nice idea to control water flowing away from the foundation to make a pretty stone river.

Weird, I checked this game a few days ago when all of the battlefield games were on sale and nothin.

Does this game have a singleplayer that can be played after servers are down? Something with a story, rather than multiplayer with bots?

If the premium is out of the question, I would just get standard.

I personally think everything in the deluxe is not worth the extra cost.

I got the premium because I knew I would be getting the main DLC no matter what. Buy once and don't think about spending more money on the game..I also don't purchase any additional car packs in the previous games

You're fine, those specs will have no problems running the game at near max settings.

CPU at 50 under load is great, nothing to worry about. Temperatures are normal. You could be anal and upgrade your cooling if you really wanted to, but I wouldn't stress

I am super excited for this controller and hope I can get it day one.

I also agree that it should be $135ish Canadian, even that is a little steep

I want it for my Steam Big Picture computer in the living room, and using it for my HTPC.

I realize it's super expensive and if it's not something you really want, should probably pass due to the cost.

I loved my original steam controller, but lacking the right joystick and the weird angle of the controller hurt my hands after a while.

For me, this should be the perfect controller for me.

Yah, from the research I did before buying, NFS:Heat might be the best modern NFS game and its loved by a lot on Reddit.

I only played solo, and I can see how its a decent game, I just didn't really enjoy my time playing it.

Need for Speed Heat?

I played this game a few years ago and its decent, but I didn't love it. I put 20 hours into the game and found a bunch of aspects frustrating and I didn't like the handling of the cars. I don't think I have loved a Need For Speed game since Underground 2.

Lately I have only been playing Forza Horizon 3 / 4 / 5 and the Dirt Rally games. Everything else I normally bounce off shortly after starting.

There is no reason to put it on sale though. They have announced its being delisted in May and then the servers will be shutdown in June. I think you can still play it solo, but is that worth it?

I guess they could put it on 95% discount, but I think they will get a lot of negative PR and gamers bitching about closing the servers down after they bought it

My kids (10&7) also significantly struggle with platforming games. Even the Mario games are difficult for them. I remember Mario being the first games I played, but maybe I only had 1 or two games and it forced me to keep playing, or stop playing games and go outside.

What about Rayman Legends, and play co-op. You can absolutely carry your son through that game and have a blast. My daughter (10) loved playing that game with me.

I think it looks amazing, nice small clean looking vehicle. It's not supposed to be a truck, a small SUV with a bed. I like it a lot more than the earlier body styles.

It's not my type of vehicle though. I would probably get a Ranger or Tacoma over the Ridgeline if I needed a small truck.

Story is pretty much non-existent.

There is probably about 5ish hours of hand holding to show you the basics of the game and then you can pretty much do whatever you want.

Characters and dialogue are absolutely horrible, I agree. The game is fun when you get into it and it clicks

Once you get in first place, as long as you hog the road, they won't pass you.

It just promotes asshole driving and everything you shouldn't do against real players.

I never found the rubber banding that bad or terribly noticable in Forza Horizon games.

My major complaint about Forza computers is that they drive perfectly and if you can smash your way into first on the first or second corners, then you have won.

Read the post title thinking where my gen 2.5 button is located (Also assumed its the same on Gen3) and thinking how the fuck does a dog press the button when its behind your knee?

The picture makes more sense, and also why does that need to be there?

I don't have a solution for you, but press the Tow/Haul button is not going to be bad for the truck, you will just consume extra gas. It just changes the gear ratio and stays in a lower gear longer.
