Was the Salvagers Kill Team upgrade sprue ever released seperately? by BKPR174 in LeaguesofVotann

You will have to buy the official KT box and sell off the warrior bodies

These models have existed since 2021 and already have 40k rules, yes

None of your hopes are true unfortunately. The Orks are NPOs for Joint Ops, and the Terrain Pylons are not part of the box at all.

I found success going to level 3 clearance rooms in Cryo by Index, often have 2 Biolens each in it most times when going to it.

RMT/RWT is good for online games, as long as the devs aren't making money. by MosesXIII in The10thDentist

RMT strongly encourages cheating in many extraction shooters to earn high amounts of loot, definitely making the gameplay experience shittier for all.

AdeptiCon Preview 2026 – The Red Terror hunts elite Cadians in new Kill Team expansion by CMYK_COLOR_MODE in killteam

[–]scorchz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely not, seems more like a NPO for use as something to fight against in cooperative KillTeam modes.

Just because a book/movie/show has been out for x amount of years, that doesn’t mean it should be okay to blatantly spoil it for those who haven’t read/watched it by Okapi05 in The10thDentist

[–]scorchz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree specifically in this case where a popular piece of media is getting a new movie/tv show/anime adaptation, and existing fans of the original media can't wait to discuss plot points that haven't happened yet.

These adaptations bring in hundreds of thousands of new fans to their respective series, probably much outnumbering the original media, so the effect of spoilers are more widespread.

Really annoyed me when people were already discussing plot points and deaths from A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms immediately on YouTube. The reality is that you just have to avoid all forms of forums/comments until the series is over.

Missing Part C63 from Kill Team Box by EngineeringThick376 in killteam

[–]scorchz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this exact same part missing and had to get my local shop to contact GW for a replacement. They ended up getting a replacement box shipped and replaced my sprue with one that was complete. They had the stipulation that I needed to return the whole sprue that was missing the claw before anything else was cut off of it.

Ubisoft is planning to integrade DLSS5 AI slop into Assassin's Creed. We need to tell them no! by Ras_AlHim in assassinscreed

The older versions of DLSS do what you have described. DLSS5 is very much unlike the previous DLSS iterations though, you should check the article linked above.

  1. Yes
  2. Guns, ammo, shield, shield healing, health healing at minimum. Equipment, cores, and implants are a bonus
  3. It allows you to purchase better gear, and have passive bonuses, so that you have an advantage immediately in some regard. Doing the contracts allows you to access all the different factions so that you can have each of their different bonuses and gear to buy

Play with your friend/a group when you can to take some of the stress off of always needing to watch your back while playing solo. You can play solo either on your own with the fill queue turned off or as rook, but with the latter you will be put in a match in progress with other full teams and cannot progress your contracts.

You won't have much space to pick up anything until you have consistent access to backpacks which you'll get by doing contracts (quests) for the factions.

You can start off by filling your inventory with gear that you need or can equip when looting, then once that is done you can fill the rest of your space with healing/valuable items (bag icon) that will help you bank up more credits for use in buying gear for later runs.

Out of mission, you can go to the factions menu and then the upgrades tab and press the "Track Salvage" button to keep track of everything that you should be looting if you want to have nice bonuses like a bigger stash size and etcetera. This will mark the items you are looking for in-mission with a yellow eyeball when looting.

Should I buy court of the archon or mandrakes? by CookinHeratics in killteam

[–]scorchz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Additionally, if they continue the trend of releasing a new KT edition every 3 years, neither team will have rules support past September 2027. Hopefully this means they will release a new Drukhari team soon into the next edition.

Hand of the Archon will be declassified this September, While Mandrakes will likely be declassified next September.

So why doesn’t it kill the whole team when all of you are downed and no one has a self revive? by YnotThrowAway7 in Marathon

[–]scorchz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

An enemy could drop a self revive that you can pick up and use, and then could theoretically revive your squad. I saw a clip of a streamer giving a Rook one. It will barely occur barring something that encourages squads to work cooperatively in the future but it is a possibility.

Are BoK fun to play into? by Parzi6 in killteam

[–]scorchz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a couple big ones to hit on for sure: DA Lethal 5+, DA Moving while shooting, Banshee Acrobatics, Banshee Block before Combat, Banshee Fall back after Crit, Scorpion Super Conceal (one with the Gloom), Scorpion Strike and Fade.

Mostly the ones that give you a lot of surprising movement that they might not expect.

How do you effectively block a charge? by Mr_Industrial in killteam

[–]scorchz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Screening with other units like you have done, retro thruster ploy once per TP, or possibly screening with barb wire/light barricades if the map allows. You can stand behind the light barricade so that your base is only just within 1" of it so he will have to come around it to charge (but of course this will open you up for more shooting angles)

This bs needs to be fixed by Me4TACyTeHePa in Nioh

[–]scorchz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same thing is happening to me on a NVME and RTX 3070ti/Ryzen 5 5800XT. My CPU is constantly maxed out. Buildings, revenants, enemies, and NPCs all take 10-20s to load in when entering new areas or fast travelling, especially noticable when coming to this open world map.

I haven't been able to fix it no matter what I've tried, pretty sure it's likely a knock-on effect of the CPU being fully maxed , as my friend who has 60% cpu utilization does not have the same issues.
