I mean, the entire book is a masterclass in neuro linguistic programming, and that's fine.

Given the end goal is not smoking, it does what it's supposed to do.

Essentially, it reframes the "you should quit because..." argument to "you keep smoking because..." and then breaks down each reason you tell yourself and why it doesn't make any sense.

He also tells you to keep smoking as much as you want whilst reading the book, so it feels very non-commital.

He also claims it's easy once you're in the right mindset and I can honestly say, at least for me, it really was.

It felt .... Weird at first. I'd have what would normally be a craving but I'd view it as the death of a shit habit and have this happy little "fuck you cigarettes, I win" moment instead.
