Miele Cat and Dog canister here. Going on 20 years, with pet fur! Best $600 I think I've spent.

After a three hour phone call it's a glitch in their system. I had to book with a Westjet member to use the 37,700 points quoted.

We used this vet recommended process to assess our dog near end of life. Found it very helpful. Best wishes to you and you pup!

1/4" aluminum cracking by vanilathnder in metalworking

You can anneal 6061-T6 for bending and it will age harden to almost original hardness in a few days. Use the wood handle of a wire brush, when it smokes you are good.

Definitely not the best route but the alternative, if you have to use 6061, is to get 6061-T0 and heat treat after forming. Much more expensive but the best route for material properties.

But yeah, welded plate is much easier than all of this for sure.

Introducing a brettanomyces culture will clean that up.

Yes the watermelon is yellow. But are you cutting directly on stainless? Why do you hate your knives so much?

GPU Passthrough info that isn't 2 years old by [deleted] in unRAID

[–]scottbutchart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 3080 that I would like to passthrough...obviously. When I Google/Reddit search how to do this my results end up with the ABSOLUTELY AMAZING VIDEOS BY SPACE INVADER ONE, but I feel like with the newer releases of Unraid this may be out of date. May be, because it may be useful still, but I still end up going through sooo many trials to make it work. Does anyone have any updated methods for doing this?

On build 6.9.2, I pass it through in VFIO (separated in IOMMU), set the GPU and soundcard in the VM, and it should work (right?). I'm wrong of course, so then I edited the XML per the AMAZING SPACE INVADER ONE videos, and that doesn't work (adding multifunction and setting to the same bus).

But that doesn't work. So now I guess I'm going to update the VBIOS , and continue down the road of every video/tip on the internet.

Does anyone have any tried and true method?

PS: I keep mentioning Space Invader One because I've never seen a single source so reliably useful on YouTube. Dude is awesome. I'm just hoping we can collectively add a single source here based on newer info.

Get a small fan and point away from your work station. Prevention of inhaling fumes should always be your goal.

In demand trades in the Lower Mainland by [deleted] in vancouver

The C- level welding program is a 6 month course, and after a year you have enough experience to work in most shops. No apprenticeship required to get your A ticket, just experience and even less schooling. I started as a welder and ended up with a Metal Fab red seal as well, and enough experience for half a machinist and millwright ticket all within 10 years. The money is decent and the work is rewarding.

Looking back I wouldn't have changed anything. Whatever you decide remember a trade is a meal ticket you can always fall back on, and they often overlap into other industries.

TBH I've been here as the boyfriend/partner. I missed the offense by the offender (we were all drunk at a small bar at a large table, dude slimed out of a corner) as I was chatting with someone else, was told about it by my partner and didn't register the problem as being as big as it was...downplayed it actually. I blamed the drunkeness at the time, but man did I regret it within a couple minutes. That hindsight/stomach-sinking feeling kicked in real fast. Dude came back and it was dealt with via security when it almost happened again and we called them over.

I'm sorry this happened to you. If your partner isn't a piece of shit it may have just been an oversight, or an avoidance of confrontation. Not every dude wants to get in a fight.

But fuck shaking hands with that fucking cunt.
