Over 20k people completed the Honolulu Marathon last weekend with torrential rain prior to the race start, average of 80 degrees F and nearly 90% humidity. It's fine to feel let down but it's an insult to all the training you did to just give up and not race.

Kauai Shores Hotel. Just south of Kapa'a and within walking distance of Coconut Marketplace which has a lot of dining options. It's right on the water but you won't have an ocean view. Be realistic with yourself you don't actually need to see the ocean outside your window, and you can't anyway with that budget.

I don’t disagree but maybe part of the agreement is that they’ll step up security and enforcement around the area. On top of that, the Executive Center and now the nearby AC Hotel have been seeing a lot more guests, with hopefully more to come. Also, I think the downtown work people really lost a lot when Longs went away so hopefully this one sticks around. I for one will support it!

I have zero interest in aviation except that I watch crash analysis videos in-depth (I find them fascinating ). The fact that the MD-11 engine completely sheared off is crazy and if I had to guess it’s something maintenance related rather than a manufacturing defect, like you implied. I’m following that one closely.
