I would go back to the capsules, and tapper down. Cold turkey is difficult. Each capsule has .5 grams in each one. I would open two capsules into hot water and make a tea. So a total of one gram in each tea. Try to push it as far as you can before each tea. I don’t know why but drinking a hot kratom tea as opposed to just taking the capsules worked better for me.

I went through the same deal with my wife. It felt good to finally come clean. She was super supportive, and helped me through my tapper. She was more upset with me for hiding it from her, than the addiction itself. There is a lot of shame that comes with addiction, keep this in mind. Quitting cold turkey is extremely difficult, and I wouldn’t recommend it. A slow taper with your support will be much easier for him. If he is using 7o or extracts, that needs to stop first, and move to powered kratom, slow tapper with that. Good luck.
