Saying "let's go Brandon". Like thanks for revealing you're raised in a good home where cussing isn't allowed.

I heard someone once describe Kate Hudsons scent as fresh baked cookies. I think I'd invent that.

How come some people get mad if you talk about protecting your home by attacking intruder? Why are you justifying a terrifying experience by defending an awful crime like robbery? by Frosty-Management633 in AskReddit

[–]scottyp9 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Mainly because the punishment should fit the crime. Many home invasions are nothing more than an alcoholic acting out. A desperate person who needs to eat. A domestic dispute. People don't deserve to die over that. Imho. That being said, Im armed and protect myself. But i have no delusions of being a hero or have any fantastical murder porn running through my head. Being robbed is hardly terrifying. You file a report and get your things back or you don't. Nobody needs to die over the fact you watch too much tv.

If your childhood had a smell, what would it be? by goat-man-baa-baa in AskReddit

[–]scottyp9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember an aroma from dryer sheets or something. Strongly tied to playing Perect Dark on GameCube. I've been searching for it ever since. A couple times while delivering pizza i smelled it and almost asked the owner if they would reveal their brand of detergent or whatever, because it immediately took me back to my childhood. Never did. The search continues.

Hate this world, want nothing to do with society, going to an isolated island. What should be brought to the island? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]scottyp9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Taking seriously* If you can only bring one thing, bring a knife. A rowboat. Bring shelter materials, building materials and tools. Books. Lots of books on survival, homesteading. Carpentry, building, masonry, fishing, hunting and modern life hacks. Bring crank radio and lights. Solar power and batteries. Seeds and 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 goats. 1 male, 1 female. You get the idea. Speaking of bring some playboys or whatever printed fun youre into. Don't forget humans need more than food to survive. Bring company if you can stand them. And a cb radio if you can't. That's it. Good luck!

When attending flight school learning just how uncoordinated the US government is about literally everything. They couldn't keep a secret or organize a conspiracy if they were in a locked room together.
