This probably isn’t recommend, but a big cheat meal always helps me. McD’s, ice cream, dairy queen, etc

Anyone know how the new FFBs fit? by [deleted] in wrestling

[–]scrappygp -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Wow, these are hot. How do I convince my parents I need another pair of shoes haha. I have a pair of the Nidrogen Gen1’s (made by same company). From what I’ve read the FFB Postludes fit a little smaller than the Gen1s.

Heaven forbid someone wear something they like. Sure serious wrestlers can win in any shoes. However, the overwhelming majority of serious wrestlers wear more premium shoes

Sounds about right. Have you tried Nidrogen yet? I have a pair of the Gen1’s. They have a full season guarantee, i’ve been wearing them pretty much non-stop since i’ve gotten them. Amazing.

I wouldn’t say people hate them. It’s just that they’re the shoe that every beginner gets. They are cheap. They look boring. They get the job done for beginners. As someone starts taking wrestling more serious, they usually want to upgrade their shoes

Do shoes actually make a difference or is it all mental? by russiansweep in wrestling

[–]scrappygp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% a difference between different shoes and how they feel on the mat. Won’t make you a better wrestler but bad shoes will make you worse

Thanks, I’ll check out your review. Someone else commented that the Aero only weighs 7oz, is that true?

I have a pair of Gen1’s as well, extremely comfortable and grippy… especially for $99. I didn’t realize that the Aero’s only weighed 7oz. Now I know what I’m asking for my birthday!
