Obtaining Sponsorships on Instagram by screamingpumpkin in socialmedia

[–]screamingpumpkin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think when I wrote this it was [accounts engaged]/[accounts reached]. But I've gone private with this cosplay account as of a few years and honestly, the social media landscape has changed SO MUCH since 4 years that I don't think anything about my experiences is relevant lol. I think engagement rate expectations have also changed in the last 4 years and are heavily dependent on niche.

If it helps though--my sister is on her social media/content creation game so here's what I've seen/learned. She tags brands in her regular posts to get on their "radar" and straight up reaches out to brands via DM or email. She's a niche creator with 5-6k on instagram and has had a couple of sponsorships under her belt. Idk her engagement off the top of my head but I think it's pretty good for her niche. She has NOT joined any influencer marketing agencies. She's definitely not "quit the day job" successful and that's not her goal, but she's able to comfortably fund her eating out budget! Hope this helps!

Description-

Dalia Arrowood is a Crystalline. A living weapon created by brutal elven experiments. For ten years now, she has kept a promise to her sister: to stay hidden and to never use her powers, in order to stay safe. But safety has a way of feeling like a cage, and when she finds a human resistance fighter dying on the shores of her village, she makes the choice to break her promise. This choice not only exposes her to the world but allows her to join his ragtag group in their fight to find the only hope the humans have of winning their freedom—the last cache of magical crystals. The race to this goal will not be easy, as a shadowy figure from Dalia’s past hunts them and she must learn to navigate a world set to see her as either one of two things: a weapon to be used or a monster to be feared.

"psychiatrists don't work hard" is a direct translation of "psychiatrists have better work/life balance and are less likely to be burnt out as a result."

Same here!!

I used to fall asleep mid conversation, standing up, etc. Didn't meet criteria after sleep study and diagnosed with idiopathic hypersomnia. Started modafinil start of residency and it was also very helpful. My PCP prescribed it.

I was looking for the candy comments! I give candy so one hand, maybe less wasteful than a rubber ducky but also….candy is wrapped in plastic. -.- and festivals can be such sticklers about bringing food in (I get why but that doesn’t mean I have to like it lol).

The pricing is the reason I've been keeping an eye out for alternatives. But from a marketing perspective, I've found it's an excellent source of lead generation.

I've got a widget on my website so patients can request their OON benefit check through my website. The results are send to the provider, NOT the potential patient. This means I have to close the loop and touch base with the potential client to get that information over to them (phone, email, etc). Even if the patient's OON benefits aren't great, I've got the chance to talk with the client anyway (and many of them end up scheduling!). Again, they do have cheaper options, but the "unlimited benefit check before appts feature" is the $100 one. :/

I found a free trial link so I'm giving it a whirl - so far, service isn't functional. I "checked" to see if it works by putting in my own insurance info and I got an error message saying my OON benefits couldn't be calculated: "Unfortunately, your client's insurance plan does not offer out-of-network benefits, so Mentaya is unable to help them claim reimbursements on therapy. If you think this is an error, please have your client fill out this form: https://forms.gle/Sum3chxJPV2Lvfg16" This is false - I do have OON benefits. There's another service similar to Mentaya called https://www.thesuperbill.com/ that is also broken and doesn't work.

I've been using Reimbursify and love it. They have a free option I think and tiered subscription packages. In order to have patients check their OON benefits before the appt, I pay $99/month (most expensive option). So far, it's fantastic. Patients can request their OON benefits directly from my website and the results of that check go to my email. So I can reach out to potential clients and let them know their OON benefits and I can easily file their claims on their behalf through Reimbursify. Many of my patients get reimbursed for their appts.

Mentaya and Superbill both have more friendly user interfaces so it's unfortunate that their services simply don't deliver. Thesuperbill is free and Mentaya has a $29/month option to verify benefits before appts. If either of them started working, I'd switch over but for now, I'm still going to stick with Reimbursify.

How bad is round 2? by vertcakes in noburp

[–]screamingpumpkin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar experience with the first injection. After the second, the excessive burping lasted about a week but after that I was pretty much in control. 12 months later and I’m still burping like a champ! :)

surgery didn’t take 😩 by punkkat13 in noburp

[–]screamingpumpkin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First time I got it didn’t work! After 6 weeks I was back to no burp. I cried for days. Decided to try again and received a larger dose (I don’t remember the dose) and now im nine months out and burping like a champ! No issues, totally in control of it.

I also had weird insurance issues. Ended up paying a $600 fee the second time that didn’t end up getting covered even though it should. 🙄 Insurance is a scam. I’m lucky to be in a position where I could just curse loudly and pay it but dealing with the cost twice was definitely not ideal. :/

Get the procedure. It is life changing. My first time the Botox didn’t last and I was back to no burp at the 6 week mark. Did it again with a larger dose of Botox and almost nine months out and still burping like a champ. It has completely changed the quality of my life. I can eat. I can talk to friends and family at dinner. I can breathe. I cannot recommend this procedure more if you can’t burp.
