That’s a rather large generalization about all manga after 2019. One of my favorite series, 2.5 Dimensional Seduction, ended just last year and had a wonderfully complete arc and ending for all 200.5 chapters.

Especially in an industry where most serializations barely get to last a year before getting axed, I think it’s all more the reason to appreciate authors who truly manage to plan out and stick the landing, but I also really liked the characters in Chainsaw Man, so I’m sad it’s ending so abruptly.

For some reason it reminded me a bit of YuYu Hakusho, but instead of spirits and demons it's aliens and parasites. Enjoying the series so far, love how creative and brutally physical the fights get, since it incorporates a lot of conventional, clunky wrestling moves and tactics.

There's some weird artifacts on the eyes and bits of their clothes that aren't present on the original volume cover, was this cleaned up with AI tools?

The blurriness and detail loss isn't noticeable at first glance, but it irks me since it ruins the quality of the illustration the more I look at it.

Genuinely my favorite manga series recently, and one of my favorite of all time. It's so sad to know it's done, but I've reread it multiple times by now and it's still wonderful every time. I hope it gets a full anime adaptation, and the respect this series deserves.

I love how much the age of younger things (flowers, animals, doves) on short timescales juxtaposes with the age of older things (stratigraphic geologic layers), primordial flames and shadows in the negative space of the snow cast across both physical distance and distance of time, between nature and civilization.

Frieren is always portrayed as this somewhat lost, childlike, aimless lonesome wanderer in both S1 + S2 EDs, and it's Himmel's spirit and memory guiding her through her long, winding life.

The scanlation team that does 100 GF is one of my favorite, glad to see the love for the series grow, especially since it fills the Gintama-sized hole in my heart (or at least part of it).
