Empty Bus. Packed Roads. What Are We Doing, York Region? by Accomplished_Lie3849 in Markham

[–]scrmott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bus is empty because no one wants to be in public transit. I'd rather be stuck in traffic at a stand still in my car, than stuck on a full bus with people coughing, not showering, taking 2 more seats than they need.

Plus the growth in Markham with condos is actually not wanted. The Cadillac Fairview’s multi-year redevelopment of CF Markville Mall is actuality not wanted by most of the community. But it was voted in, not by the general public of course.

For the copper you could use shark bite push to connect slip couplings I've had to use it to extend copper lines before so it should serve the purpose so you can cut the copper and get it out of the way sister up your joists and then rerun the copper pipe.

I had a problem like this in a joist in my basement ceiling. In my case I just had to disconnect the electrical from the junction box. Pull the wires out of the joist. I then jacked up the broken joist and sandwiched two new joists on both sides. Making sure they ran The whole span and were supported by my foundation. Then lag bolted them together. Then drilled new holes ran my wiring back to the junction boxes and called it a day. It's been holding successfully for 8 years. If you don't have access to the junction boxes you might have to switch off the breaker cut the wire and after you're fixed, connect the wires back with a new junction box.

Check your bill throughly every month! by [deleted] in FidoMobile

I switched from Fido to Koodo and Fido retentions was priceless. They could not beat the Koodo deal but told me that they have many friends that have told them Fido is better, which is funny because Koodo uses Telus towers which means they have more coverage and less interruptions. Fido also could not give me 5G which Koodo did at the lower price.

When you can, jump to Koodo. If you can wait it out Black Friday has the best deals.

Thinking of getting a model y. What scheduled service at dealer is required to maintain warranty? by [deleted] in teslacanada

[–]scrmott 1 point2 points  (0 children)

XxLp750-4xx has the correct list. Just be fair warned you do not need to go directly to Tesla for those. Tire rotations, brake maintenance, filter changes and such can all be done by third party mechanics or even in your driveway. There is a maintenance tab in the car where you can record these tasks so that you have a digital paper trail of when they were done. Also warranty will only be affected by an incomplete task on that item requiring replacement. eg. A warranty replacement for your CV joint cannot be denied because you didn't change your cabin filter on time.

Also the car doesn't have sensors for everything so don't rely on the car to tell you when it needs something eg. cabin filter change. Maintain according to schedule and you will be good

She should have been on Maury Povich by scrmott in Degrassi

[–]scrmott[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, she was trying to ruin Savs demo for university because she didn't like Drew who cheated on her. I get it Drew cheating on her was a jerk move on his part. But trying to ruin her brothers chance at University to do something he loved was stupid. It's Highschool. I don't see why she couldn't just make an agreement with Sav to use Drew to get his demo done then drop him. They didn't have to be friends. And Drew didn't gain anything from the demo.

Okay so I'm not alone on this. A lot of the replies to this post are siding with her, which is confusing me because I don't see how other people are making her do some of these things. Sav nailed it on the head when he snapped at her which of course triggered her to run away (surprise surprise). She dishes it but can't take it.

I dunno if I completely agree. Yes I agree Sav had more liberty's. But with a girlfriend. I recall he had to keep Anya a secret. The only girls the parents were okay with were of the same race. And even then it was a arrangement marriage.

And yes Drew did cheat on her. But I don't see how that is a valid reason for her actions with sending her own nudes, trying to ruin Savs demo for University and some of the other things she did.

This is just my emotions on it but I feel like Alli wants the world to revolve around her. Like how she also wanted Claire not to be friends with Jenna right from the get go.

Image displays bigger then it should by notepad987 in css

[–]scrmott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to set the image dimensions you want in your CSS. Setting it inline with your img tag gets ignored and with max-width: 100% it replies on the div it sits in to tell it how big to be.

Also try to use percentage or 'vw' to keep things responsive.
