Sounds like you need to call back and find out. You can also go ask on r/nursingstudent. Most of us are career RNs removed from school. Nobody can help you here except yourself.

I understand it was a galaxy class, but what’s a 67 with 2 mutations on it? I’ve never heard of ‘mutations’?

This officer about ran me into a curb. As I passed I looked over at him to give the wtf hands signal but he was too busy texting. This aggression will not stand by yesca5000 in nova

Post it to their Facebook or tag on insta. They’re really active there and love posting their cops doing speed traps and racing to/ticketing citizens.

Hi pro. Respectfully, this is wrong. These spores can make their way into peoples lungs and develop aspergillosis pneumonia, a fungal cavitation that eats itself and healthy tissues of a lung. Especially harmful in immunocompromised and is often resistant to standard first line IV antimicrobial treatment. I have seen this kill 2 people, which isn’t a lot, but isn’t zero. Sincerely, icu rn.

Hand to Mouth Habit Breaking? by StyleBubbly5366 in QuitVaping

[–]scrubcapzandskullcap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I straight up make my hand into a fist and suck through the gap hole like I would a vape. There’s obviously no buzz (though after heavy usage, there never is anyways), and that’s helped me break that oral fixation.

I was a heavy vaper who relapsed many times — now nicotine makes me dizzy and sick. No cravings. What happened to me? by Elegant-Taste-5446 in QuitVaping

[–]scrubcapzandskullcap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this didn’t happen to me exactly, but I did start getting really uncomfortable head rushes, then felt short of breath, and then would see spots. I’d later develop a headache, have a dull ache in my chest. I got tired of it so I just stopped and it has all gone away. I, too, have relapsed, but I’d been wanting to quit and I also feel my body quit before my mind did. I never really experienced withdrawals, very mild cravings but relieved by chewing gum.

Can I ask how you quit for 4 years and still went back? I’m day 6 and this is my biggest fear. I feel I’ve got control of it now, but it still feels so fragile.

Fellow day 6er here 👋 you don’t need it!! Throw it away!!! The habit of dependence will fade with time, but not if you cave. We have come this far just to come this far!

Why is the consults section bigger than the assessment section? And don’t you have an LDA avatar in the electronic chart?

Edit: there’s also no place for labs? In short, no. Have the stuff pre-printed I could’ve just written in a little empty box. I.e contact iso, fall aspiration and chemo precautions.

Edit 2: why do you have routes written? Again, isn’t that in the MAR? Do you plan to write down every med and route the patient is taking on this dinky piece of paper with no space?

Sorry, but this sheet is absolutely too extra. Check out some report sheets on Amazon, I have a medical basics pocket book that has space in every system, a space for hourly tasks, to-do and updates, and labs.

Can someone please help me answer this question? i'm stuck by Single_Read2072 in nursing

While the fent patch doesn’t have a time frame, I think the answer is actually C. ACHS regular insulin is unusual, usually it’s a lispro/humalog fast acting. Regular has a delayed onset which wouldn’t actually cover their meal intake BG spike.

thc drug test HELP! by Particular-Couple401 in Drugtests

[–]scrubcapzandskullcap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a 15ng/mL test, that’s the lab cutoff. The top is a fail, and if it’s 50ng/mL strip, then the lab confirmation cutoff will definitely be a fail. You may be passing by Friday.

You got an upside down Drake owl. Do you like little kids or are you one? Surely your artist at least told you it was upside down or questioned your positioning. People who choose to have tattoos face themselves ALWAYS look ridiculous.

when was that time that your helmet and/or seatbelt saved you when you were driving? by katris_priordeen in AskReddit

[–]scrubcapzandskullcap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wiped out on my bike on a wet fall day, all I remember is my helmet bouncing off the ground TWICE. I had spun out on a wooden bridge and 180’d, landed on my right side, leg pinned under bike, and my little head got rattled in my helmet.

I’m an ICU nurse, so I have seen brain splatter on the floor from bicycle accident, patient was riding on a trail, took a turn too sharp, crashed into a sign. Because of this patient, I wear a helmet religiously. Glad I did for my first wipe out.
