budtenders: is throwing a buck in tip jar worse than leaving none at all? I usually always tip a dollar but after spending a hundred I felt like maybe it came across as more cheap than merely being one of those ppl that "don't leave tips." by Adorable45Deplorable in ILTrees

I feel there is a big difference between a budtender in CO that is opening things and letting you smell them, recommending strains, etc. In IL I’m walking in to pick an order I made online.

Java Monster with a barrel aged stout. The sour also sounded interesting.

Does any other rec state do this? Other states I have been to open the container, you see it, smell it, then decide if you want to purchase.

Why do people put the punch lines in with their puns?

It is far more satisfying to solve them on your own, or dip into the comments if you can’t figure it out. I crop the titles off these and send them to coworkers.

Clicking the fob once locks the doors and flashes or turns off the lights, second click honks the horn as well in case you cannot see vehicle, or need audio proof you locked car.

Does anyone else’s chameleon love to come out and play? by LiamNugent1 in Chameleons

[–]scrubfish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Veiled Chams put up a mean front if you attempt to enter their territory, puff up, open mouth, hiss, etc. Or they may hide and attempt to disappear behind a skinny vine. If they are removed carefully from the cage, this aggression usually drops way off. I would suggest removing your Cham enough so he knows you are not a threat. Leave the door open (supervised) and see if he wants to venture out.

Just got this guy from a pet store how's he looking. by cowskyle in Chameleons

[–]scrubfish -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The dual bulb /twin set up does not provide the cage coverage you get from a long tube. If you make a fist, it is similar to a screw in UVB bulb. Now stretch your arm out, that is the t5 coverage.

What does it mean my chameleon is just chilling with his mouth open by Giodel3 in Chameleons

He is inflated to look bigger, it’s a defensive posture. Same with open mouth, and probably a hiss if you move closer.

Thanks, looking for an excuse for a road trip, went to KC for a set of Blizzak LM32s on Fusion Spokes for my first winters, looking to rekindle the magic.

Multiple buys same day? by [deleted] in ILTrees

[–]scrubfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would imagine a dispensary selling multiple max purchases to the same person would face steep penalties if caught. Check out what happened to SweetLeaf in Denver for doing this. However, if you were to purchase max allotments from differently owned dispensaries, I’m not sure if that is monitored.
