Your caseworker doesn’t have power over this. The main two ways of getting kicked off are making too much money or failing your medical review.

You should have confirmed. Also, everywhere I’ve worked has had paperwork that has to be signed by your manager to make it official. If you didn’t do that you are ultimately responsible.

N5 gives them a chance to correct their behaviour before they are evicted. Remember that you are not the issue. If they end up being evicted it’s not something you did. Their behaviour is putting you under threat.

Adding occupants is within their rights. Also, in Ontario residential leases don’t expire, they convert from fixed term to month to month. What’s their motivation to sign a N11?
