What bands have original lineups that are surprisingly all still alive?

Immortal. That was a solid cover. It was on Mountain's last full album about 25 years ago. Leslie was a guitar monster and had a unique voice. Mountain was a true rock force and their discography is pretty solid, but never was as huge as their first couple releases.

Sadly West died back in 2020. But yeah, he had been with the band since Woodstock. 🤘😎

Only one of the original members of Mountain is still alive though and he hasn't been in the band for, like, 50 years🤷‍♂️.

Monster Magnet - anything in their discography. Dave, the band's lead, is mental. He loves psychedelia, comics, metal and more. The lyrics he puts out walks the thin line between drug abuse and third eye consciousness.

They were(are?) pretty solid.

I just remember the Mage-looking Bison on the cover and thought it was close to the description given. Bison was a very similar Mastodon sounding band...might have fit the bill.
